ESL TEACHERS:
Full- and part-time opportunities for ESL Teachers with a background in TOEFL/TESOL and/or Business English for our Midtown Manhattan, Jackson Heights and Flushing, Queens, and West New York, New Jersey campuses.
Responsibilities include: Preparing lesson plans and instructing adults in ESL courses, monitoring student’s performance and advising students on their progress, administering written and oral exams to students, taking student’s attendance, and grading student’s exams.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Communication, or any related field and 1 year of ESL adult teaching experience in a classroom setting (sorry, tutoring and volunteer work does not meet this requirement). HR GENERALIST
Zoni Language Centers is seeking an HR Generalist for its successful and growing organization of language schools. This position will be instrumental in Zoni’s future expansion plans, both in the US and internationally.
To be considered for this position, you must have at least three years of experience as an HR Generalist for an employer with at least 150 employees, and a record of effectiveness in salary/benefits admin, recruiting, staff training, and employee relations/performance management. You should have working knowledge of at least one HRIS system and have strong MS-Word/Excel skills.
A degree in HR, business, or related field is preferred. Candidates with current PHR/SPHR certification strongly preferred. Experience in educational institutions a plus.

DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Zoni Group International is seeking a Director of Human Resources for its successful and growing organization of international language schools. The successful candidate will become a member of the company’s senior leadership team, will report to the CEO and manage the HR team, and will have full responsibility for all HR functions and projects, and HR accountability for acquisitions and new site start-ups, both in the US and internationally.
To be considered for this position, you must have at least one year of experience as a Director of HR in a business with at least 200 employees and a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience including: new site start-ups, staffing, compensation, organization effectiveness, training and development, employee relations, HR strategy, and HR technology. The successful candidate must demonstrate a record of business effectiveness in the role of manager, internal consultant, HR Visionary, and member of a leadership team in a diverse organization.
A degree in HR, business, or related field is required. Candidates with current PHR/SPHR or GPHR certification strongly preferred. International HR experience a plus.

ACADEMIC COORDINATOR / DIRECTOR OF STUDIES
Zoni Group International is seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to become Academic Coordinator or Director of Studies. These positions report to the District Director of Studies and are based in New York City (Queens). Relocation is not available.
These positions are responsible for:
• promoting and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to a pleasant work envi¬ronment for
employees and a pleasant study environment for students;
• coordinating daily academic activities;
• supervising, training, and coaching faculty;
• scheduling/ monitoring classes; administering and evaluating placement tests; monitoring teacher
attendance/ performance;
• working closely with administrative staff; and
• teaching ESL classes as needed.
The persons in these positions will also develop and implement customer/ academic service and public relations activities.
Qualified candidates will meet these criteria:
• College graduate; with courses in business management, cross-cultural awareness, counseling,
and/or ESL are helpful; a Masters degree is preferred for the Director of Studies position;
• At least 3 years experience in ESL or educational programs with full supervisory responsibilities,
including hiring and evaluating personnel; a minimum of five years of ESL teaching experience is
required for the Director of Studies position;
• Service oriented, have the ability to relate well to a wide range of cultural groups, and be willing and
capable of promoting Zoni to prospective and current clients;
• Goal-oriented, a hands-on manager, who is able to identify the need for—and initiate—action plans
to continuously improve the services provided.
