A course for high-intermediate and advanced-level professionals who wish to improve their use of English in a workplace setting, ESL for Business gives students the opportunity to learn vocabulary and participate in realistic situations for listening, speaking, reading and writing practice that directly apply to the world of finance and other industries. The course provokes and reinforces critical thinking by having students analyze the success stories of various businesses in the U.S., and how they relate to other businesses globally.

 Because of New York’s standing in the world economy, students have unique opportunities at their disposal while studying ESL for Business. Field trips to New York’s financial and business districts give insight to the international business environment, and a visit to the NY Stock Exchange lets students see what life in high finance is really like!
