Admissions
1 - When can I start?
Students can start every Monday. Should a Monday be a statutory holiday, classes will start on the Tuesday.
2 - What are the requirements for a study permit?
Please check with your local Canadian Embassy or Trade Office for details.
3 - What are the admission/language requirements?
We accept students at any level of English.
4 - How long after I submit an application can I expect notice from the school?
We generally process applications within three business days.
5 - Can I enroll in a program and extend while in Canada?
Yes, you might have to change or extend your visa. Contact your local Canadian Embassy
or Trade Office for details.
6 - How can I get a letter of acceptance?
When we receive your registration and tuition fees for study of six months or longer,
we issue a letter of acceptance.

Programs
1 - Are the teachers certified ESL instructors?
Our teachers must have a Bachelors Degree and a TESL Canada certification, as well as ESL
teaching experience. We supportour there is a space missing between support and our teachers by
offering regular workshops to keep current with new teaching methods. All of our teachers are also
evaluated on a regular basis to ensure they are teaching to our standards.
2 - What kind of courses do you offer?
We have all kinds of courses... general studies, specialized studies, holiday programs, youth packages, part time, full time, intense, or semi-intense. You let us know what type
of study you are looking for and we match you with the appropriate class.
3 - Do you have summer and winter camps?
Yes, for children (ages 8-12) and youths (ages 13-18). All have ESL classes in the morning and fun activities with the group
for the afternoon and weekends. Most run for four weeks
in July and August but we can accommodate special requests too.
Payment
1 - Are your prices in Canadian dollars?
All prices, unless stated otherwise, are in Canadian funds.
Weather
1 - How much snow do you get in the winter?
Our winters are wet, but it rarely snows, except on local ski hills.
Work
1 - Is it possible to volunteer and can your school assists in locating volunteer positions?
There are a number of volunteer organizations in the city and we would be happy to help you find them.
2 - Is it possible to work while studying?
Immigration laws do not permit international students to receive pay for work while in Canada.
Contact your local Canadian Embassy or Trade Office for information on other types of visas that may permit working.
